Soup Spoon
Poster & Logo
Soup Spoon was created to be a restaurant that specialized in a variety of soups, chowders, bisques, and stews from around the world. I wanted the logo and advertisements to have an old-world flair while still keeping things modern.
This was originally one of the first projects I ever did as a design student and over the years have updated and changed it four or five times with this version being the most recent.

Poster
To create the poster, I wanted to create a botanical illustration style, so I sketched all of the food items and soup bowls in Procreate, used Adobe Capture to then vectorize the sketches, and then I brought those drawings into Rebelle to paint under the sketches in simulated watercolor. The typography though originally sketched in Procreate, was recreated in Illustrator.
I created two versions of the poster, one to use as an ad and one to use as an in-restaurant art piece.
