Event Campaign
As a part of a class project, students were asked to chose a music festival to create a new poster and style for, using "hand-made type." I chose BuzzFest, a musical festival that started in 1995 by the Houston-based radio station 94.5 The Buzz, which has continued bi-annually ever since. the festival, like the radio station, features primarily Alternative Rock music but also showcases bands in the Rock, Grunge, Pop Punk, Post-Grunge, Punk Rap, and Rap Rock genres.

Logo Exploration
I wanted to create a new logo that had the energized feel that the name exuded and the atmosphere at the festival evoked. So, using ink, I created multiple crazy logotypes. Once the final was selected, I scanned it in, vectorized it, and tested out different color variations.
